Position Summary
The Mortgage Post-Closer is responsible for delivering all closed mortgage loan files to Secondary Market investors and assisting with post-closing activities.
Success in this role requires knowledge of the loan process and familiarity with all documents included in the mortgage file.
The Mortgage Post-Closer's greatest impact rests in his/her ability to be technically proficient and maintain positive and beneficial working relationships with all members, co-workers, investors, title companies, and any other parties involved in the mortgage loan process.
Duties & Responsibilities
Serve TTCU members and employees pleasantly and professionally in accordance with TTCU core values of Trust, Respect, Excellence, Kindness, and Stewardship.
Greet and welcome every member in a professional, TREKS manner.
Answer member or business partner requests, inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a timely, effective, and kind manner whether received in-person, online, or by telephone.
Facilitate the Loan Sale and Commitment of Loans to Investors.
Assist Lock Desk & Secondary Administrator, as needed.
Deliver closed mortgage loans to the secondary market investor.
Serve as the first line responder for all investor suspense conditions.
Coordinate the prompt response for all investor suspense conditions.
Activate Mortgage Insurance and Pay Private Mortgage Insurance.
Transfer MERS data once the mortgage loan has been purchased by the investor.
Oversee the organization and upkeep of the Mortgage File room.
Skills & Qualifications
Previous mortgage loan experience preferred.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong organizational skill.
Experience working in a fast-paced team environment.
Ability to build strong working relationships.
