Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the property, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, including Fair Housing regulations.
- Handle tenant inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct property tours and show available units to prospective tenants.
- Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, including conducting inspections and documenting any damages.
- Manage rent collection and delinquency process.
- Maintain accurate records of all property-related activities using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Prepare and execute leases, renewals, and other legal documents.
- Market available units and develop strategies to attract new tenants.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards are met.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to schedule repairs and ensure timely completion.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and contractors.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and ability to ensure compliance.
- Proficient in office software applications (e.
g.
, Microsoft Office) ResMan knowledge is a plus !for administrative tasks.
- Excellent sales skills to effectively market available units and negotiate lease terms.
- Familiarity with legal administrative procedures related to property management.
- Experience using a CMMS for maintenance tracking and scheduling.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to negotiate lease terms and upsell additional services or amenities.
- Knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) program is a plus.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle tenant inquiries and concerns.
