LVN Charge Nurse

Responsible for planning, implementing and supervising resident care on a designated unit for a specific shift.
Evaluates and disciplines certified nursing assistants.
Schedules as appropriate, assigns and delegates responsibilities to staff.
Ensure each resident receives treatments, medications and diet as prescribed, in accordance with federal and state regulations and facility policies, procedures and care plans.
Ensures prompt, appropriate action in cases of injury, illness, fire or other emergencies.
