We're looking for a Truck Driver to join our team of Owner-Operators.
This position will offer the opportunity to drive long-haul loads locally and home daily, a competitive hourly rate and excellent working conditions.
The ideal candidate will have experience as an Owner-Operator with the ability to drive a tractor trailer, a positive attitude and the desire to be part of a close-knit team.
Responsibilities:
* Operate truck for the business, picking up and delivering products.
* Gather information about truck availability and contract rates for each load and contact customers about freight availability.
* Check the physical condition of each truck on a daily basis and maintain logbooks to record any problems, repairs, and maintenance needs.
* Notify company dispatcher of any problems, delays, or damages.
* Prepare load manifest for each load to be transported.
* Monitor truck fuel levels and comply with all federal, state, and company safety regulations.
* Must be saftey oriented
