ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Owner/Operators for Edwards Transportation Inc work Monday-Friday and some weekends on regional over-the-road (OTR) routes in Texas and the surrounding states hauling Dry Vans (Box Trailers) and Flatbed trailers.
O/O run under our authority with our decals on truck.
O/O are responsible for comp and collision insurance.
Liability and Cargo is through Edwards.
We are a forced dispatch company.
ABOUT THE COMPANY
In 1987, our founder, Benny Edwards, left service in the Marine Corps and started working for trucking companies in the Texas Panhandle.
He enjoyed the work but wanted more time with his family and to have a better week-to-week paycheck.
He quickly realized the potential of the trucking industry and came up with the unique business plan we still operate under today.
