We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help drive innovation.
This software engineer should be passionate about full-stack and mobile application development.
This engineer will play an instrumental role in building products that service the Viva First customer base.
Location: On-site
This candidate must be a US citizen.
Responsibilities
Full-stack web/mobile application development in JavaScript and Typescript
Work closely with our PM and design team to define feature specifications and build products leveraging frameworks such as React & React Native
Work closely with operations and infrastructure to build and scale back-end services
Regularly participate in code reviews and other team functions
Lead development of the next-generation mobile application to power the Viva First digital banking experience.
Experience Required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development
Strong CS fundamentals and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to work as part of a team and with 3rd party technology providers
Experience programming in one or more general-purpose programming languages, including but not limited to: JavaScript, Java, Python, C/C++, or Go
Experience with the following is required: Typescript (Which runs on Node.
js), GraphQL, AWS, React Native, React
Effective communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback
The ability to discuss and explain system architecture and component design
Experience designing, building, and deploying mobile applications in the iOS and Android stores.
Financial Technology experience is preferred.
