in maintaining a supportive and collegial working environment.
Maintains appropriate documentation related to all experiments (lab notebook), protocols, equipment, safety requirements, inventory, and orders.
Ensures overall cleanliness and organization of the laboratory and laboratory equipment.
Orders and maintains adequate stocks of all necessary supplies and consumables, with PI's approval.
Verifies the good working order of all essential laboratory equipment on a daily basis, and takes immediate measures when malfunctions are noted.
Plans and designs and conducts laboratory experiments.
Summarizes data and assists PI in data analysis.
Supervise and aid other research personnel and students in the laboratory.
Note: This is a one year appointment to be renewed annually based on satisfactory performance and mutual agreement between mentor and team member.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in one of the sciences, or equivalent combination (four (4) years) of job-related experience and college education.
Experience may be substituted for college education on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience and expertise in laboratory techniques used in cell biology and biochemistry research, including working
with rodents.

Pay Statement
Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan.
