4/6: ATTENTION HOMESTEADERS: Poultry Clinic for Egg Production (Lubbock)

Interested in chickens for egg production but don't know where to start? Already started but having problems? No problems but you want to optimize your program? We will be having a class taught by a professional chicken farmer with over 60 years experience at everything from backyard flocks to large commercial operations.
All areas of poultry husbandry covered.
Learn about different breeds and the jobs they are most suited for.
How to raise, what to feed, predator defense, detection and treatment of disease, and more.
Format will be a lecture followed by a Q&A.
We will help you to develop your program to suit your own goals, whether you simply want some home grown eggs for your family, or to start a large scale egg production company or anything in between! Bring a notepad and all your questions! Clinic to be held Saturday April 6th at 2:00pm in Southeastern Lubbock near Hwy 87 and 1585.
