After School Clerk

We are seeking a motivated and engaging *After School Clerk* for one of our public elementary school.
*Key Roles* * Must enjoy working with kids * Primarily responsible for assisting Site Director in maintaining students attendance in the after school program * Welcoming parents during after school dismissal * Checking in and out students from online attendance * Verifying students when parents pick them up from the program * Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly environment for the program * Maintain professional competence through on-going training and education sessions.
*Requirements* * *Must be 18+ years old and possess a high school diploma or higher* * *Must be able to pass criminal background check and fingerprinting* * First Aid / CPR certification or willingness to become certified * Be available to work *2:30 pm to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday* * 6 months experience within child care (preferred) * *Ability to motivate and engage children and manage behavioral challenges.
* * Good judgement and sound decision making.
* Ability to lift and move supplies to the after school sites.
