Come join us in supporting and improving cities and counties across the South Plains! The South Plains Association of Governments is seeking an out-of-the-box thinker to be a part of our innovative Regional Services team.
Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and/or at least two years of administrative experience.
Training in the specific operations and duties associated with the position will be provided! The ideal candidate should be self-directed, receptive to professional skills development and have a desire to utilize creative problem solving skills.
This position is empowered to use independent judgement and offers a rewarding public service experience and the opportunity to help people across the South Plains region.
Specific tasks will include:
* Create and maintain relationships with local and state officials,
* Oversight of state and federal grants that enhance the quality of life for residents in the South Plains
* Project and construction management, and
* Administration of regional planning programs that encourage economic diversity
The starting salary range for this position is between $3,208-$3,541.
67 monthly.
This position will also have a comprehensive benefits package which includes retirement (through TCDRS), health & dental insurance (fully covered for the employee by SPAG), paid vacation and sick leave, optional life insurance and more!
