Lubbock Children's Health Clinic (LCHC) is recruiting a general pediatrics physician to join our team serving the Lubbock community.
The LCHC is a non-profit pediatric clinic comprised of two state-of-the-art outpatient-only locations in North and East Lubbock.
LCHC has been a staple in the Lubbock community for over 84 years, and no child has ever been turned away due to the ability to pay.
With beautiful exam rooms, point-of-care testing, on-site phlebotomy, an easy-to-use electronic medical record system, and a full staff dedicated to helping children in need, this clinic provides the perfect opportunity to practice medicine in a supportive and compassionate environment.
The clinics are open Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm.
No evenings or weekends.
No call coverage.
Dedicated administrative time is included in the work week.
Sign on bonus, moving expense allowance, and stipend opportunities available.
LCHC offers comprehensive health plans and other core insurances, retirement plans with matching contributions, generous paid vacation and sick time allotment, full license reimbursement, and CME opportunities.
Two full-time, experienced nurse practitioners are on-site for support.
In addition to providing a comprehensive medical home for our patients, the LCHC is the only medical clinic in West Texas to also provide a multitude of ancillary services to our patients at no cost to the patient or their families.
These services include a food pantry supplied by the South Plains Food Bank, a diaper depot, individual and family counseling services, optometry services, and a clothing depot.
All ancillary services function under the direction of the clinics' Executive Director and are meant to support the medical providers' and patients' needs.
Our pediatric physician can propose project ideas and community service opportunities, if desired to further the clinic's mission of providing high-quality patient care to all children in Lubbock and surrounding communities.
The clinic works closely with all three major medical hubs in Lubbock, UMC, Covenant Health, and TTUHSC.
LCHC is a United Way partner and has been well-respected in the community for decades.
Our group has a strong spirit of camaraderie.
The LCHC has a collegial and collaborative work environment with a supportive administrative culture.
