StarCare Specialty Health System (StarCare) is seeking a full time Financial Analyst to join its outstanding Accounting Team.
Responsibilities: Work is performed under minimal supervision of the CFO with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Analyze program contractual requirements and assist with process development and program design to maximize revenue.
Evaluate business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies that ensure all metrics are met and expenses are efficient.
Stay up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
Manage projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance.
Coordinates, prepares, and monitors center-wide budgeting procedures Preparation of annual cost reports, quarterly hospital reports, annual CAM reports, and quarterly DSHS/DADS reports Update, implement, and maintain procedures.
Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
Serve as a liaison between programs and administrative departments.
Manage competing resources and priorities.
Monitor deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Essential Duties: Analyst will work with others in finance and all other divisions.
The primary goal of this position will be to maximize efficiencies in revenues and expenses within the organization, while working with the established guidelines and contractual obligations.
Schedule: This is a full-time/non-exempt position scheduled Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, with flexibility to meet the needs of the department.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university, with specialization in business administration, public administration, accounting, finance, health care administration, or health organization management Two (2) years of progressively responsible technical and administrative experience in finance or business-related field.
Skills & Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Superior presentation and negotiation skills Strong organizational skills Expert level Microsoft Office skills, including: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access & Power BI Additional Requirements: Must pass a pre-hire drug screen and criminal background check.
Must have a Texas driver's license and be insurable under the Agency's insurance.
