We are looking for a Accountant/Jr.
Controller for our growing services company.
This is a key hands-on accounting and financial reporting position.
* Responsible for General Ledger, and oversight of all reconciliations including segment or departmental reporting.
* Responsible for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting, i.
e.
, internal controls, and related process improvement.
* Key initial reviewer of balance sheet and income statement and reported financial results.
* Lead accounts payable, payroll, invoicing, and banking with PT help.
* Develop general accounting processes and overall functionality of Accounting Department working closely with CFO.
* Handle general accounting matters.
* Coordinate recurring tax compliance.
*Requirements and Preferences*
* Degree in Accounting.
CPA a plus.
* Five years accounting experience required, prefer including two years public accounting experience.
* Supervisory experience, minimum of two years.
* Supervisory experience, minimum of two years.
* General Ledger responsibility and general ledger account reconciliations experience required.
* Demonstrated performance in process improvement, margin management and departmental accounting.
* Good communication & interpersonal skills.
* Prefer experience with companies $3-10 million revenue.
