Major/Essential Functions Oversee and complete processes related to external scholarships, including but not limited to daily deposits, daily reconciliation, scanning, indexing, external scholarship form set up, review and approval, wire transfers, etc.
Provide knowledgeable and professional guidance to students, parents, high school counselors, Financial Aid staff, etc.
as needed.
Attend in-office meetings, special events, orientation/Presentations, etc.
Adhere to University Policy, Federal and State Regulations, to include FERPA.
Represent the Student Financial Aid and Scholarships office by interacting with students, parents, high school counselors and other entities at local and university events.
Utilize systems (i.
e.
, Salesforce, Dynamic Forms, STS, federal systems, etc.
) to set up new scholarship fund codes, assist with scholarship team emails, award and/or adjust scholarship offers.

Complete transfers to and from TTUHSC for student dually enrolled, or for checks sent to TTU for students enrolled at both institutions.
Set up new scholarship fund codes for all new endowment and current use agreements established by IA and university colleges and departments for awarding purposes.
Maintain existing scholarship fund codes in STS and Banner.
Update as necessary to ensure coding is correct and accurate for reporting purposes.
Customer service duties - answer phones, assist walk-ins to scholarship office, email communications with parents, students, donors and campus partners, college and departments.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 1 year of experience OR combination of education and experience to equal 5 years.
Preferred Qualifications General accounting principles and practices Written and oral communication skills Microsoft Office experience Ability to work in a team environment Experience with TTU systems - Banner, Scholarship Tracking System, Xtender, Cognos General knowledge of Student Financial Aid.

Does this position work in a research laboratory? No Special Instructions to Applicants Must be able to access all federal and state financial aid system websites in order to perform the essential functions of this position.
Must not be in default on student loans, which will prevent access to these systems (NSLDS, COD, etc.
).
