Reimbursement Consultant

We are currently seeking a Reimbursement Consultant to join our Cost Reimbursement (CR) and Regulatory Reporting practice.
The practice provides cost reimbursement, regulatory reporting guidance, and healthcare consulting to hospitals and other healthcare facilities in metropolitan and rural communities throughout the State of Texas.
Our CR practice also provides unique opportunities to work with C-Suite executives to optimize reimbursement, improve operational efficiency and build upon strategy, and enhance communication between healthcare entities to drive value in their respective markets.
Requirements: * Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance * Experience and confidence in verbal and written communication skills * Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Office product applications * Excellent Time Management and ability to self-pace Preferred Experience or Knowledge, although not mandatory: * Preparing Cost Reports * Preparing Medicare Disproportionate Share calculations * Preparing and optimizing Worksheet S-10 data * Preparing and optimizing Medicare bad debt logs * Acting as a liaison with MACs and state agencies to help resolve cost report issues * Medicare and Medicaid audits * Developing strategies for the successful arbitration of appeals and re-openings of issues related to finalized cost reports * 1115 Waiver * Performing wage index reviews Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $55,000.
